What is City Life
A movement of Christ-followers who form into small teams in US cities across the country so they can together pursue Christ, launch their careers and seek to be used by God among the lost.
The City Life Team Covenant
City Life Team members commit to live near each other and to sharing in this City Life Covenant:
By God’s grace…
- I will pursue Christ and walk with Him with all my heart.
- I will pursue excellence in my workplace, job or profession.
- I will live and disciple among the lost – especially among my peers.
- I will team with others of like heart and purpose.
City Life Mentors
Each City Life Team will have a Navigator mentor whose role is to help the City Life Team fulfill their covenant and adapt to life in their city. Mentors are Navigator stakeholders (lay people) or Nav Staff who share in this City Life vision and have been certified to serve City Life Teams in this way.
City Life Events
National: All City Life Team members from across the country will come together once a year for a time of refreshment, refocusing and relational encouragement from other City Lifers.
City-wide: City Life Teams in a particular Metro area will have City-wide or Region-wide opportunities for development every six to ten weeks.
Team: Each City Life Team will decide when and how to get together. This may include weekly Team prayer, bi-weekly team Bible study and some meals together -- along with other activities aimed at facilitating natural yet intentional outreach among your lost friends.
City Life Teams may also pursue involvement with a focused outreach like helping with a soup kitchen or a neighborhood reading program.
